Latchkey after school Program

Program Site:

Kieberger Campus | 748 W Goodnight Ave, Aransas Pass, TX 78336

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Friday 3:00-6:00 pm (No Latchkey on APISD Calendar Holidays)

Students Served:

Aransas Pass ISD students in grades PK-6th

Partners with the Aransas Pass Independent School District

PURPOSE:

  • Provide a safe, professionally supervised environment for Aransas Pass ISD students in PK-6th grade.

  • Provide homework support along with quality enrichment experiences through a STEAM program that will include Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.

  • Develop the ability to express thoughts and feelings through activities.

  • Develop self esteem and positive self image skills for personal quality of life.

  • Provide the children positive role models and mentoring programs utilizing the local Police Department, Fire Department and other positive mentors.

STEAM helps students:

  • Problem solve

  • Think creatively

  • Be innovative

 

Tentative Latchkey Schedule:

3:15-3:35         Arrive at Kieberger Campus

3:35-3:45         Snack Time

3:45-4:15         Homework Support

4:15-6:00         STEAM Station Rotations

 

Summer Camp:

7 Week Program (June-July).
